Sporting Clays
Hudson Farm’s extensive 19-station fully electronic sporting clay course was built with the wing shooter in mind. The sporting clay course was designed to simulate every type of bird hunting situation. Take your shot at simulated driven grouse, high flying pheasants in open fields from a tower and flushing grouse and woodcock in thick woodlands. The course offers experienced and novice shooters an equally challenging and rewarding experience. |

Simulated Driven Pheasant Flurries
Rounding out the sporting clays is an eight peg flurry field where a line of guns can practice shooting high overhead targets partnering up with loaders to practice simulated driven pheasant. This makes for a great practice area for tuning up before the live bird season and European shooting trips. |

Simulated Walk-Up Shooting
Hudson Farm along with the help of Shyda’s traps has designed a 25 target walk through sporting clay course to simulate live walkup hunting. When walking through a gravel path through the rolling hillside at various points motion sensors are set off to allow for the speaker system that is hidden in the trees to project game bird noises for a few seconds as single, report pair, or true pair targets are thrown representing that game bird. |

Helice Shooting
Helice shooting is a simulated flight of a live game bird. There are 5 launchers in front of you, arranged in a semi-circle. As you stand back at various distances the helice targets are randomly launched by a computer panel which produce the random flight of a flushing bird. |

5-Stand
The 5-stand at Hudson Farm is situated over a drop off in the woods with five shooting stations in a row spread out at equal distances. This is a great way to entertain small groups with very minimal walking. This is very similar to sporting clays in that a wide variety of targets are thrown. There are seven fully automatic traps operated by a wireless control unit that is able to throw various combinations of targets simulating the different flights of game birds. The 5-stand can be shot as a flush setup, throwing random targets every second for all five shooters or moving from stand to stand and shooting the designated targets from the menu card at each station. |
