Continental Pheasant Shooting
Over the past couple of years we have become known for our high sporting presentation during pheasant shoots, where birds average heights of 40 yards plus. Guns are stationed at fixed positions in a semi circle at the bottom of rock ledges and hillsides achieving a natural presentation of driven birds. The birds fly over the guns at a variety of angles and heights to make for a day of challenging shooting. Guns rotate shooting pegs throughout the course of the shoot as well as moving to new shooting areas for different flights and presentations. Challenging shooting, superb dog work, the companionship of meeting new friends and the ambience of a proper European shoot make for a memorable day of game shooting. |

Walk-Up Shooting
Hudson Farm offers true upland bird hunting. Proper game management has enabled us to take advantage of holding pheasants that were not shot during the release shoots to make for great walkup hunts over our fields, wooded lots and marsh areas. It is not unusual to experience a number of flushes during a hunt where you cannot load your gun fast enough for the amount of birds that are presented. |

Duck Shooting
Situated over 15-acres of water we have 13 duck blinds that can accommodate two hunters each. High flying ducks averaging heights of 40 – 60 yards offer very high challenging shooting for the blinds. Fast flying mallards are coming over the blinds in a variety of angles and heights offering some great pass over shooting. |
